This package includes PhoneFlash, Map Switching (control of ignition, boost limit, torque requested, LAMBDA target, rev limit per mode), Rolling Anti-Lag, Self-Adjusting FlexFuel using factory and RR control working in harmony with MPI, CAN inputs, MPI control (hardware required), Simplified Wastegate Position Open Loop Control, Simplified Limit Disable, RaceROM logging Parameters and Security, ECU Recovery, Fast Flash and Simple Unlock.
Note: Mark 8.5 is not currently supported
- Enable up to 4 performance modes via the cruise control buttons on the vehicle
- Modes can be activated/switched on the fly
- Rev limit can be set for each mode
- Boost target max, LAMBDA setpoint, ignition setpoint, MPI DI split, and torque demand maximums can be adjusted in each of the four modes.
- Rolling Anti-Lag can be set per mode
- Self-adjusting or Fixed Blend FlexFuel can be set per mode
Our Rolling Anti-lag strategy is enabled by pressing and holding the '+' button on the cruise control. Whilst the button is pressed, the system uses an ignition retard, and holds the current RPM using a fuel cut, allowing the engine to build boost before the release of the button to launch.
When integrated with a CANbus FlexFuel kit, a self-adjusting, fit-and-forget flex tune can be created. Or, if you prefer, blends can be set up in any or all of the four map switch modes. Our RaceROM FlexFuel gives you total control. Note: when this system is activated the OEM fuel quantity adjustment is used to maintain reliability and robustness of the system
- Four Ethanol-specific ignition base maps per map switch mode
- Four Ethanol-specific base fuel maps, one per map switch mode
- Ethanol-specific MPI split can be used to maximise the potential of the fuel system
- An Ethanol-specific boost can be used to allow more or less boost or load to mitigate issues with engine safety and/or fuel supply limitation
- Want to put bigger injectors in to supplement the direct injectors for, say, ethanol-based fuels? Read our guide, fit suitable injectors and follow our tips to dial in. We have purposely made this very straightforward to implement, with clearly defined maps and accurate logging, to ensure it's quick and easy to do
- Allows fuel supply headroom without replacing expensive direct injectors when using Ethanol-based fuels.
- Reduces intake valve deposit buildup.
- Can be calibrated to work with the other 39 combustion modes of the control system
